Since you ask for facts, I will give you some. Go to the 7 minute mark

in the 4th quarter when Regan takes the ball down the right side of the lane. One of the defenders bumps her as she puts it up, nothing is called. About 20 seconds later Hicks is under the Big one in the lane and a foul is called on Hicks (not sure that should have been called but I'll ignore that for now), during the stoppage they show a replay of the foul not called on uva as Regan took it to the basket and the homer guy on the broadcast said to the homer girl "you like that no call, there was clearly contact but I'm not sure either player had the advantage so they just let them play on". If that is the way they are going to call it that is fine, but then coming after the uva timeout tied at 50, uva player starts to set a screen but then rolls to the basket, catches the pass and lays the ball in with Ragan on defense, hands straight up, probably touching her with her body but no push using her the body and a foul is called. On one end clearly a bump that affected the play with no call, on the other only a touch that did not affect the play and a foul is called on VT.
On the 5th foul on Hicks, I ran it several times in regular speed and slow motion, I don't think she even touched the girl. Hicks stumbled and lost her balance. The girl announcer said "it was enough to LOOK like she's completely crossed over......." Hicks aggressive play does sometime get her in trouble, but that was not a foul. The flop in the lane resulting in an offensive call on us may have been and Oscar award winning performance. At the 25 second mark when the uva girl hurt her knee, she used her leg and lower body to knock Regan to the floor, but no foul was called. Those appear to me to be obvious poor calls or poor no calls, all of which benefited uva.

Do I think the refs caused us to lose the game, certainly not. But some of the inconsistent officiating MAY have cost us a CHANCE to win. If we could hit some free throws we could have had the lead in the final minutes and uva may have choked, especially if Hicks' speed and quickness had been on the floor, and she should have been, as number 5 was not a foul and number 4 may not have been one either.
